@Nimrod I didn't mean I wake up every 1.5h, I meant that I aim for the time I'm asleep being 4.5h, 6h, 7.5h, etc.

It's an amazing thing that the mind can be trained. I can often program myself to wake up a certain time, and I'll do it within a five-minute window.

Used to have an account at posthaven. Loved that it was a newsletter-type site. Not sure why I left it, but now it's abandoned by the creators. I went there from posterous. Miss not having the ease of doing a newsletter and subscribers getting the email automatically.

Good morning! Late start here, cold and foggy out, cold and chilly inside. How's your weather?
I'm doing the thankful/three good things elsewhere. Do you write them as well?
Know anybody who talks in lists?
This markdown flavor doesn't adjust the numbers automatically. Bad! You prefer numbers or unnumbered lists of bullets?
Was looking at Acts 2.38 in some more literal versions. AUV gives this good translation: “And Peter replied, "Every one of you must repent [i.e., change your hearts and lives] and be immersed in the name of Jesus Christ [i.e., by His authority] so that your sins will be forgiven [by God] and then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit [to live in your hearts].” How does this version read to you?
Plenty to do today, but first a reading and prayer. Anything I can pray about on your behalf?

In the dropdown menu at the bottom right of each top-level message is an option to 'Save' with a star next to it. In the 'Stream Filters' widget is an entry called 'Saved Posts' with a similar star and let's you see the posts you've saved.

For me, the measure is quality of conversations (e.g. "signal") vs. quantity (e.g. "noise"). That's why I really don't use email any more. It's all noise now. One spends all their time scrolling through noise trying to find something/anything that resembles a signal of an actual human communicating with them.
